This project is a beauty salon in Munich located in a classic period apartment on the second floor. One of the greatest challenges was the relatively low ceiling height, while the owner desired a high-quality, representative, and modern design—a decisive factor in attracting new clients.

We developed a holistic design concept with a clear focus on functionality, aesthetics, and flexibility. The entire furniture design was custom-made and implemented in a harmonious color palette of rosé and brown tones. Metallic structures combined with illuminated shelving create an elegant, light effect, making the room appear more spacious despite the low ceilings.

Open, illuminated shelves provide space for nail polishes and work materials, which are intentionally showcased, while closed base cabinets ensure order and create visual tranquility. This results in a clear structure without clutter.

A special focus was placed on redesigning the sterilization zone. This area was completely replanned and equipped with bespoke furniture. Separate drawer systems were provided for each employee to keep all necessary work materials clearly organized. This solution significantly improves ergonomics, shortens walking distances, and optimizes workflows—which has a positive impact on the salon's efficiency and profitability.

Furthermore, the positioning of the workstations, the lighting concept, and the overall spatial ergonomics were carefully planned. Decorative elements and targeted light accents give the salon a stylish, inviting atmosphere with a high-end character.

The reception area was completely redesigned. A striking back wall was created behind the reception desk with space for the salon's logo, serving as a visual centerpiece and emphasizing the professional brand image.

Another important aspect of the project was the mobility of the concept. All furniture and design elements were planned so that they can be easily integrated into new premises in the event of a future move. This provides the owner with a flexible, sustainable interior design concept that allows for a change of location without high additional costs.

The result is a modern, functional, and aesthetically sophisticated beauty salon that not only improves working conditions for the team but also strengthens brand perception and supports the business's economic success.
